The new partnership represents a strategic marketing and sales distribution cooperative between the two companies, who are focused on tackling the widespread shortfall of daily zinc intake. With roughly 73% of the American population failing to meet the estimated average requirement for zinc, Zinpro Zinc LG offers a clinically researched, patented zinc lysine glutamate solution that unlocks zinc's full biological potential.

Magtein Partners with Arnold’s Pump Club

ThreoTech, LLC, the exclusive global supplier and patent licensee for Magtein (magnesium L-threonate) has partnered with Arnold’s Pump Club, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s official email newsletter and daily podcast. Magtein, a patented form of magnesium developed to support efficient magnesium delivery to the brain, has been shown in clinical studies to support brain health, healthy cognitive aging, sleep quality, next-day functioning, mood, heart rate variability, and improved response time.

Circana Debuts Attribute Marketplace

Circana is shaking up the data integration and accessibility space with the introduction of its Attribute Marketplace solution. Felicia Named as Finalist for 2026 NEXTY Awards

From March 3-6 the natural products industry will gather in Anaheim, California for the 45th annual Natural Products Expo West show. One of the event's highlights is the presentation of the annual NEXTY awards which recognizes brands and products exemplifying exceptional innovation, integrity, and inspiration. Amongst this year's list of finalist is Italian-born better-for-you pasta brand, Felicia, and their Organic Oat Penne. Nominated in the Gluten-Free Products category, the product is one of their 11 pasta offerings made from grains, legumes, and superfoods including oat, buckwheat, brown rice, chickpea, red lentil, and spirulina.

GNT Petition Helps FDA Expand Uses of Spirulina-Based Colors

Spirulina extract has become the first natural blue color additive to receive approval for all foods generally in the United States. The United Stated Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that it has expanded the permitted uses of spirulina extract as a color additive, an update that is most relevant for bakery applications which have seen increased demand for natural green tones requiring access to natural blue color solutions. Clearer regulatory pathways now support more confident planning for plant-based color solutions in these applications, including pistachio- and matcha-inspired flavors and seasonal offerings.

"With more natural blue options now permitted, the focus is on helping manufacturers understand what’s possible,” shared Jane MacDonald, Director of Technical Development at GNT USA. “GNT brings regulatory experience and technical application expertise to support informed decision-making, as customers evaluate natural blue solutions within their specific formulations and commercial goals.”
