New Hampton, NY – Balchem Corp. has achieved Non-GMO Project Verification for its VitaCholine brand choline chloride and choline bitartrate ingredient product lines.

TheNon-GMO Projectis a mission-driven nonprofit organization offering a third-party non-GMO verification program.

Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are living organisms whose genetic material has been artificially manipulated in a laboratory through genetic engineering. This creates combinations of plant, animal, bacteria, and virus genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods.

Balchem also participates in theUSP Dietary Ingredient Verification Program, which includes GMP facility auditing, ingredient quality control and manufacturing documentation review, and ingredient testing.
