Jeffersonville, IN—BioVivo Science opened the doors to its new, state-of-the-art facility, allowing for brand partners, industry leaders, and select members of the media an opportunity to tour the facility at the grand opening event.

Attendees had the opportunity to tour BioVivo’s 100,000-SF, cGMP-certified facility, which contains high-capacity production zones and extraction labs. The facility has the capability to process precision botanical extractions, concentration, purification, crystallization, granulation, powder processing, spray drying, pulverization, and more. The site produces 2,000+ metric tons for its annual output capacity of powdered botanicals, and covers 25 acres, allowing for future expansion and development.

The facility, located in Jeffersonville, IN, serves as a hub of innovation, as it is a base for the growing food, beverage, supplement, and pet nutrition market, plus logistic innovators driving product and supply chain advancements. The site houses both production and R&D, as well as analytical tools to ensure safe and consistent bioactive content. BioVivo is focused on new ingredient innovation with rare and underused botanicals, using enhanced formats and formulation-ready solutions to deliver solutions that meet function, label, and taste goals.

BioVivo’s facility aims to help drive local innovation while also building global supply chain relations. The company works directly with local farmers to grow desired botanicals such as American ginseng and stevia to reduce import reliance and improve traceability. BioVivo hopes that by utilizing domestic sourcing, they can create a more diverse supply network.

“BioVivo Science is committed to reshaping how natural ingredients are sourced and processed in the United States,” shared Chris Smith, Director of Strategic Operations & Supply Chain at BioVivo Science. “Our Jeffersonville hub provides brands with a fully traceable supply chain and trusted, cGMP-certified partner for high-quality extraction and processing.”
