Las Vegas, NV—Lonza Capsugel is hosting an invite-only opportunity to participate in the company's upcoming Innovation Day initiative. A collaboration project with Nutrition Business Advisors, Lonza announced that 10-12 companies will be chosen to present on October 27, 2025, during SupplySide Global in Las Vegas. Participants will be assigned a dedicated mentor to help refine and prepare their pitch, which will be delivered at an exclusive, confidential presentation with members of the Lonza executive team.
There is no application fee required to take part in the upcoming event, which will be open to emerging and established companies alike. The Lonza team will be reviewing all applications and looking for submissions that focus on three target areas within nutrition and health:
1. GLP-1 Related Ingredients (Side Effect Management & Treatment Continuity)
- Complement GLP-1 therapies (e.g., semaglutide).
- Address nausea, GI discomfort, and nutrient absorption challenges.
- Sustain weight management and metabolic outcomes.
2. New Formulation Technologies Applicable in Hard Capsules
- Improve stability, shelf-life, and performance.
- Protection from oxidation, moisture, or degradation.
- Enhance bioavailability, absorption, and capsule compatibility.
3. Innovative Oral Delivery Formats for Nutraceuticals
- Beyond traditional capsules, tablets, or commoditized gummies.
- Proprietary technologies with consumer or efficacy advantages.
- Examples: advanced gummies, 3D-printed delivery, dissolvable films.
At the events conclusion, all selected candidates will be considered, on a case-by-case basis, for a potential post-event mentoring opportunity and a possible collaboration (e.g., partnership, co-development, commercialization, investment).
