Stratum Nutrition Acquires Sibelius: Sage

Human and pet health ingredients supplier, Stratum Nutrition, has acquired Sibelius: Sage, a unique extract clinically proven to help improve memory and attention. The acquisition further emphasizes Stratum's commitment to adding innovative and functional solutions to its growing product line.

Balchem Appoints Preferred Distributor

Balchem has named U.S. supplement ingredient distributor, Stauber Performance Ingredients, as its preferred supplier for the Albion Minerals, OptiMSM, VitaCholine, and VitaShure product lines. The partnership gives Stauber access to Balchem's 22 manufacturing facilities, seven technology centers, and seven regional offices while building on the companies' longstanding relationship to meet the demand for additional support and customized solutions.

Fuerst Day Lawson Limited (FDL), a developer and manufacturer of proprietary taste and nutrition ingredient solutions for the food, beverage, confections, and other consumer markets has been sold to global human and animal nutrition company, ADM. Through its unique pantry of ingredients and solutions, ADM will look to help FDL meet its customers needs for taste, nutrition, texture, and functionality across their product lines which includes juice and juice blends, botanical extracts, as well as bakery ingredients.

Kumaon Tea Launches Farmer-Owned Factory

In conjunction with Young Mountain Tea (YMT) and Kumaon region smallholder farmers of the Indian Himalayas, Kumaon Tea will open a state-of-the-art tea facility in May of 2024. The decision furthers the company's agenda of shifting ownership of tea factories from large groups to rural, smallholder farmers. Following the opening of the factory, Kumaon will be selling four premium organic teas through YMT in September adding to its product line of black, white, and green teas.
