Phoenix, AZ—The Neighborhood Grant program, founded in 2015 by Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation with a mission to drive change and educate the public on nutrition, is accepting applications until May 31,according to a press release.

Available to nonprofit partners that support children's health and nutrition programs, this grant has invested more than $7 million in 260 non profit organizations. Last year, the foundation awarded $550,000 to 85 Neighborhood Grants winners.

“Through Neighborhood Grants, we’re working to shift the landscape of health by focusing on programs that empower children with the access, knowledge, confidence and desire to make healthier food choices so that they can grow up to become healthier adults,” said Lyndsey Waugh, executive director of the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation in the release.
