The USDA published two food recalls in conjunction with the companies in question: Johnsonville, LLC, recalled raw ground frozen cheddar cheese and bacon flavored pork patty products, and Perdue Foods LLC recalled Simplysmart Organics Gluten Free Chicken Nuggets.

The pork patties were produced and packaged on September 27^th, 2018, and October 17^th and 18^th, 2018. They were recalled due to possible contamination with black rubber. A full list of products can be found on the USDA’s website.

The gluten-free chicken nuggets were produced on October 25^th, 2018, with a “Best By” date of 10/25/19. They were recalled due to potential contamination with wood. Details and UPC numbers can be found on the USDA’s website.
