As it continues its 50th anniversary celebration,NOWis giving away baseball jerseys and serving birthday cake Thursday at 3 PM at Booth 3535.

Scientists from NOW's quality control team will also be demonstrating some of the analytical instruments they use to guarantee the safety and quality of NOW ingredients and products.

Attendees can see firsthand how they utilize LC-MS/MS (liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry) for low level drug residue and pesticide analysis, GC-MS/MS (gas chromatography/mass spectrometry) for multi-residue pesticide analysis and solvent residue analysis, the RiboPrinter to ensure the purity of probiotic bacterial strains and identify environmental isolates, and the molecular detection system to detect a variety of pathogens.

Dr. Bronner’swill host aRegenerative Organic Happy Houron Friday from 4:30 – 5:30 pm, in Booth 2419 with fellow members of the Regenerative Organic Alliance, including Alter Eco, Grain Place Foods, Guayaki, Lotus Foods, Maple Hills Creamery, Nature’s Path, and Patagonia Provisions.

They will discuss  new developments with the Regenerative Organic Certification (ROC) since its launch in March earlier this year.

Organic Valley’sBooth 1329 will featuring large screens and a Facebook Live setup so guests can talk directly with farmers on the farms. There will be live feeds of three farms at the booth, including farmers from Oregon, Vermont and Wisconsin

Ron and Kathy Holter, Organic Valley farmer-owners from Maryland, will be live at the booth facilitating the interviews and FaceTime with their fellow farmers.
