TSI Group Introduces Modular Supplement System

With GLP-1 usage showing no signs of slowing, the TSI Group and functional health experts have come together to develop a three-part modular system to support the physiological changes of GLP-1 users. The new offering targets three key points:

  • Muscle Health: Preserving lean mass during rapid weight loss using clinically referenced ingredients like myHMB and Hobamine.
  • Digestive Comfort: Supporting microbiome balance and healthy transit time during motility changes.
  • Nutrient Foundation: Addressing baseline gaps in hair, skin, mood, and energy caused by diminished intake.

With GLP-1 use leading to drastic changes in the mindset and nutritional needs of its users, TSI Group and its collaborators have focused on addressing the onset of supplement fatigue which can occur with increased supplement use to battle the effects of nutrition deficiencies by presenting nutrient, digestive and muscle supplements in consumer‑friendly delivery formats. “GLP-1 users experience predictable physiological changes that can make long-term use difficult without the right nutritional support,” said Dr. Peter Michael Stone, an award-winning physician, researcher & functional medicine educator who helped develop TSI’s nutritional support system. “That requires targeted, mechanism-based nutritional formulations, not general wellness formulas labeled as ‘GLP-1-friendly’. This is precisely where TSI’s root-cause formulations provide real value.”

TopGum Acquires PLD Gummy Operations

TopGum Industries has announced its acquisition of the U.S. gummy manufacturing operations of P&L Developments LLC. On January 20, 2026, a binding letter of intent was announced, solidifying both companies strategic commercial partnership. With its completion, the deal establishes the first U.S. manufacturing presence for TopGum, shortening lead times and further connecting the company with its largest customer base. For PLD, the transaction enables them to better meet the continued rise in demand for gummy formats throughout VMS and drug categories.

"This is a strategic transaction that gives TopGum a unique foothold in the emerging pharmaceutical gummy market and reinforces its positioning as an innovative, leading company in its field," said Eyal Shohat, Chief Executive Officer, TopGum. "The transaction positions TopGum as a unique player with an advanced global manufacturing platform, built to serve the largest dietary supplement brands in the U.S. with local manufacturing. Partnering with PLD, one of the leading generic pharmaceutical companies in the U.S., gives us access to leading U.S. retail chains and accelerates our growth in this market. The fact that a significant portion of the consideration is contingent and share-based reflects PLD’s confidence in TopGum's strategy, capabilities and long-term growth trajectory. The pharmaceutical gummy category is in its earliest innings, and we believe it will follow the same arc the dietary supplement market followed over the past 15 years, when the gummy format became the dominant one. We view the completion of the transaction as a significant milestone in TopGum's growth trajectory, and we are at the beginning of a new chapter in the Company's accelerated expansion as we continue our journey to become a leading player in healthcare products built on enjoyable, advanced delivery systems."
