Bloomingdale, IL—NOW Health Group has joined PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program in order to help consumers recognize at a glance that manyNOW Solutions personal care products and essential oilsare cruelty-free, according to a press release.

NOW has a company-wide ban on animal testing, and the company’s line of personal care products is ISO 22716:2007 certified through Underwriters Laboratories, ensuring that the products are manufactured under rigorous guidelines and quality control. The products use clean ingredients, are free of parabens and artificial colors and fragrances, and use natural preservatives whenever possible.

Tina Tews, NOW’s Personal Care Brand Manager, said in the release: “We have never tested products on animals, and we require that commitment and documentation from our ingredient suppliers as well, so we wanted to make it easier for consumers to have that assurance while they are shopping. The Beauty Without Bunnies logo on our labels and our listing on PETA’s shopping app will give confidence to conscientious consumers.”
