Sausalito, CA—ReGenFriends is announcing their first ever #BillionPersonMovement Global Challenge event. The event will take place on February 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Golden Gate Club in San Francisco.

The #BillionPersonMovement Global Challenge is a global initiative created by ReGenFriends for organizations to share their net-positive regenerative programs and reach one-billion people by Earth Day 2023. The event targets end-users, and will reveal the updated 2020 Emerging Regenerative Customer national research data to open up a discussion about the movement’s four consumer-driven goals.

Those goals are: Generate one billion consumer mentions on social media by Earth Day 2023; create a global community of #ReGenFriends; promote collective work of net-positive regenerative businesses; and to fundamentally shift global production and consumption to reverse climate change.

The program also includes three key-notes, six panel sessions, entrepreneur pitches and multiple networking opportunities as well as many speakers, including Fortune 50 thought-leaders, start-up trailblazers and regenerative business members. The program is a zero-waste event.

It will take place at The Golden Gate Club at The Presidio, specifically because, according to the press release, "it is a working example of regeneration." All proceeds to directly back to The Presidio of San Francisco for projects including trail restoration, renovations, and educational programs to grow children's appreciation for nature. The Presidio Trust is dedicated to restoring, renewing, and growing landscapes, buildings, educational programs, and community outreach.
