Purdy, MO—INS Farms has introduced Elderberry Seed Oil, intended for cosmeceutical product or nutraceutical development.

The oil is available in both organic and conventional options, according to a press release. It is cold-pressed and filtered without chemicals or additives. It is made up of more than 95% fatty acids, with a 1:1 omega-3 to omega-6 ratio and over 20% omega-9 oleic acid. Its high fatty acid content can help protect the lipid barrier of the skin.

Devon Bennett, Co-owner of INS Farms, stated in the press release that use of cold-pressed extraction without adding preservatives or fillers helps the oil retain its unique composition.

The oil can be blended with vitamin D and other fatty acid oils.
