The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced that it has no objection to the safety of Superba krill oil from Aker BioMarine of Oslo, Norway. The agency reviewed animal and human toxicology and clinical research data information about krill oil’s choline-
containing phospholipids.

Domino Foods, Wild Flavors and Sunwin International will collaborate to develop sweeteners and sweetener systems that combine stevia with other natural sweeteners like sugar, brown rice syrup, evaporated cane juice, malt or molasses.

Vitafoods Europe and Finished Products Expo, held in Geneva, Switzerland, from May 10-12, saw a 27% increase in attendance from last year with 10,300 combined attendees. Nutraceutical Business & Technology Awards were given to industry companies in various categories for the first time.
