San Diego — CV Sciences, Inc. announced its CBD gold extract has has received self-affirmed Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) status in accordance with stringent U.S. FDA safety guidelines.

This designation certifies all of the company’s PlusCBD Oil Gold Formula product line as being recognized as presumably safe among experts under the conditions of its intended use.

CV Sciences, Inc., a supplier and manufacturer of hemp-derived phytocannabinoids such as CBD oil, says it is the only hemp CBD nutraceutical company to invest in the scientific evidence necessary to achieve such a designation.
