New York, NY—Kentucky Fried plant-based chicken will hit a KFC in Smyrna, Georgia this week, making it the first fast food restaurant to test Beyond Meat’s plant-based chicken,according to CNN.

KFC said that the Beyond Fried Chicken will be limited to one store for now, but previous plant-based tests have resulted in country-wide rollouts:Burger King and Qdoba have both taken their Impossible menu items nationwide, and, CNN notes, Dunkin’ is testing Beyond Meat sausage and egg sandwiches in New York, with plans to roll out to the rest of America in the near future.

KFC will offer the chicken in nuggets or boneless wings, each in six or 12-piece combo meals. Wings will be $1 each and the nuggets are $6.49 for six and $8.49 for 12.

CNN quotes the chief concept officer for KFC US, Kevin Hochman, as saying: “KFC Beyond Fried Chicken is so delicious, our customers will find it difficult to tell that it’s plant-based. I think we’ve all heard ‘it tastes like chicken’—well, our customers are going to be amazed and say, ‘it tastes like Kentucky Fried Chicken!’”
