Chester, NJ—Dean’s Natural Food Market has opened a new location in Chester, NJ. Said to be NJ’s largest organic grocer, the chain now has 120 employees and four locations throughout the state.

The third location opened four years ago, just a few months after superstorm Sandy ripped through the state and caused great damage—including to Dean’s, which lost $75,000 worth of products and several days of business. Its first two locations were opened in 1996 and 2006.

Dean’s Natural Food Market Owner and Founder, Dean Nelson, insists that all his stores focus on providing high-quality organic, non-GMO, and all-natural products, including 100% organic produce. “We’re passionate about organic and environmentally-responsible products and represent a full-service grocery store to the next level,” director of marketing Andrea Tudor told theDaily Record.

Following the mid-July ribbon cutting, the store hosted live music, tastings, sales and giveaways, and donating 3% of proceeds to theCancer Support Community of Central New Jersey.
