Geneva—In October 2021, 22,000 nutraceutical professionals from across the industry gathered virtually and in person at Vitafoods Europe 2021. In May 2022, industry members will gather again in Geneva for a hybrid Vitafoods Europe that will combine an online platform and in-person event designed to re-connect the nutraceutical community in an increasingly health-conscious post-COVID world. Attendees can access the Vitafoods Europe online platform from May 2-13 for content and virtual meetings. The online platform will enable visitors to plan their visit to Geneva and set up in-person meetings in advance of the live event, which takes place May 10-12.

Event highlights, as outlined in a press release from Vitafoods Europe:
  • Expert insights with online content and in-person presentations in 4 theatres: the Main Stage powered by Vitafoods Insights, Life Stages, New Ingredients, and Probiotics. Talks will focus on the regulatory landscape for probiotic ingredients, innovative prenatal supplement ingredients for child mental health, and more.
  • Innovations will be showcased at the New Product and Ingredient Zones, featuring the latest ingredient technologies, formulations and products, as well as new research. A virtual Innovation Tour will be available in video and audio format.
  • Themed Resource Centres for those interested in Omega-3 fatty acids or probiotics and gut health.
  • Sustainability Corner, where visitors can explore challenges and success stories, with expert-led sessions on how the industry can become more sustainable.
