The certification is issued by Food Chain ID. It includes a third party audit which covers topics such as maintaining a quality management system, meeting applicable ISO and cGMP standards, implementing standard operating procedures, and complying with relevant federal regulations.

cbdMD adds the certification to its NSF GMP registration, providing an extra layer of quality assurance.
