Founded in 1997, by its Chief Executive Officer Suzanne Dean and President Ed Heftman, Tea Tree Therapy is well known for providing high-quality tea tree oil-based personal care items. Built from the mantra Everyone should have access to a safe & natural antiseptic, the company has built a product line that includes antiseptic & skin treatments, essential oils, oral & dental care, soaps, cleansers, & hair care, suppositories, and topical treatments.
"It is time to take the company to the next level. We have decided to sell our company to NeilMed Pharmaceutical, Inc., a family-owned and operated company that produces over-the-counter products locally in the USA," said Dean in an official statement regarding the sale.
New Ownership
Founded in 2000, NeilMed Pharmaceutical, Inc. was started by Ketan C. Mehta, M.D., and Nina Mehta. Focused on "safety and affordability to sustain long-term growth, creating drug free and effective nasal / sinus care products for millions of consumers worldwide," the company has grown to employ over 500 individuals.
