Wesley Earle Drennen, 76, peacefully passed away at his residence on December 28, 2023, surrounded by family.
Drennen, born in Mountain Brook, Alabama on December 2, 1947, attended the University of Montevallo and then graduating from the University of Alabama in 1974. In 1972, he co-founded Harmony Foods with his first wife, Frances Self Drennen. The two then opened Manna Grocery and Deli in 1980. He worked as the co-owner at the store for 40 years.
Drennen was known for sharing his knowledge of natural foods and supplements with Manna's customers, as well as on radio appearances. In 2020, Earle retired from Manna Grocery, and moved with his second wife Adelaide then moved to Cloudland, GA.
