New York City, NY—The Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA) has designated Plant Based World Conference and Expo as its official trade show, according to a press release.

This show, the release says, will be the home for the growing community of everything plant-based and will take place June 7-8, 2019, at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Michele Simon, executive director of the PBFA, said in the release that “Our shared mission is to promote the plant-based foods industry. Through this partnership we look forward to growing the industry together by educating professionals and consumers about the many benefits of plant-based foods.”

The press release says that PBFA will have its own booth on the show floor and will help guide the educational content to ensure high-quality sessions for its members, the industry at large, and consumers. The partnership offers exclusive benefits to PBFA member companies exhibiting at the show.

Joel Davis, president and CEO of JD Events, the expo’s organizer, said in the release, “We are thrilled to partner with PBFA and its innovative members to build an event that will accelerate our collaborative mission of bringing the plant-based foods industry fully into the mainstream.”
