The Inspired Home Show 2025, held March 2-4 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, drew over 1,600 exhibitors and buyers from more than 100 countries—once again proving its place as the definitive event for the home and housewares industry. This year, the show wasn’t just about the latest gadgets or décor; it reflected the evolving values and lifestyles of today’s consumers. Key trends like “turtling,” tech-driven self-care, sustainability, and interactive creativity all took center stage, redefining how we live, recharge, and entertain in our personal spaces.

Sustainable, Circular Living

Sustainability isn’t a trend—it’s a necessity. Brands at the show demonstrated how circular design and eco-conscious products are redefining what it means to live well.

Recyco Living introduced high-performance, quick-dry towels made entirely from recycled materials, offering a stylish and sustainable alternative to wasteful paper towels. Recyco is the #1 reusable dishcloth brand in the U.S., offering a chic, sustainable swap for paper towels. Made from sturdy, plant-based materials, these ultra-absorbent cloths soak up messes, dry fast, and can be washed up to 50 times—saving money, reducing waste, and upgrading your kitchen with fun patterns.

In the sustainability space, Bamboozle Home is leading the charge with Astrik—a revolutionary plant-based material that looks and feels like luxe matte plastic but is made entirely from renewable plants and bamboo. This innovation is at the heart of Bamboozle’s newest housewares, including their iconic compost bins and stackable mixing bowls, proving that going green doesn’t mean sacrificing style or functionality. Designed to elevate everyday spaces, these eco-chic essentials come in a curated palette of sophisticated colors, made to be seen—not stashed away.

Everbrand Sweden and Buoy showcased minimalist, eco-conscious home goods and drinkware made from 100% recycled ocean-bound plastic, reinforcing the importance of reducing single-use waste. Buoy’s solar-powered production process and BPA-free, food-grade certification make their products a natural choice for eco-minded consumers.

ASOBU  stood out for their commitment to functionality, durability, and environmental responsibility—proof that sustainability and good design can go hand in hand.

Wellness Made Easy

As wellness continues to weave itself into every aspect of daily life, more people are looking for ways to bring healthy habits home—and it’s not just about yoga mats and blenders anymore. From sleep and movement to relaxation and clean cooking, the latest generation of wellness products is designed to fit seamlessly into modern living spaces, helping people feel better without overcomplicating their routines.

At the center of this shift is SCS Life Made Easy, a company rethinking what it means to live well at home. Their portfolio of thoughtfully designed products covers everything from sleep solutions to foldable treadmills and walking pads, innovative spas, and cold plunges offering a wide range of ways to prioritize wellness in familiar, everyday settings.

Movement at home is getting a makeover, too. KingSmith WalkingPads and LifeSmart Power-Touch Treadmills are compact, double-fold designs that make walking, jogging, and running indoors feel accessible—even in small spaces. Their streamlined profiles and easy storage make them a practical solution for those who want to stay active throughout the day.

When it comes to relaxation, LifeSmart Massage Chairs deliver more than just a comfortable seat. With lift, recline, and heat functions, and details like plush upholstery and modern stitching, they reflect a growing appetite for furniture that blends wellness with design. In fact, demand for these kinds of multifunctional pieces is on the rise.

LifeTrend hot tubs and cold plunges tap into the popularity of contrast therapy—alternating between hot and cold water to promote circulation and recovery. Home models eliminate the need for spa visits or gym memberships, offering an at-home version of the wellness ritual experts continue to recommend. And the new Lifetrend personal saunas and upcoming red light therapy products capitalize on the growing trend in redlight and infrared therapy to promote overall health and wellness. This popular holistic treatment is used for benefits such as improved sleep, reduced stress, muscle recovery, anti-aging, and enhanced energy levels. Safe, non-invasive, and drug-free, it is popular among athletes, wellness enthusiasts, and anyone seeking holistic health support.

Even the home office is getting a wellness upgrade. The BackRobo AI Office Chair uses smart technology to track posture, stretching habits, and movement, aiming to relieve the strain that comes with long hours at a desk.

And for those looking to enhance their outdoor living spaces, Kamado Ceramic Grills offer a versatile cooking experience, allowing users to smoke, grill, sear, roast, and bake with a single piece of equipment. As interest in clean, flavorful cooking grows, these chef-style grills are finding their way into more backyards.

With wellness becoming more of a lifestyle than a separate routine, products like these reflect how technology, design, and functionality are coming together to make it easier for people to feel good at home—without the barriers of memberships, appointments, or complicated setups.

Turtling: The Comfort-First Lifestyle

The concept of “turtling”—the desire to retreat, nest, and find comfort in our homes—was everywhere at the show. As consumers embrace more time indoors, they’re seeking products that blend ease, luxury, and personal expression. This shift was reflected in everything from smart home tools to immersive fragrance experiences.

Evergrace is redefining what it means to come home. This mother-daughter brand weaves softness, warmth, and effortless beauty into every throw, pillow, and quilt. With velvety textures, feathery layers, and calming, nature-inspired tones, Evergrace turns ordinary bedrooms into irresistible retreats. It’s the kind of quiet luxury that invites you to stay in, wrap up, and forget the world for a while.

Kaffe Products answered this craving for comfort with beautifully designed coffee essentials—think sleek grinders, cold brew makers, and French presses that turn your kitchen counter into a cozy café. Meanwhile, The Cord Wrapper tackled the practical side of turtling, keeping countertop appliances organized and clutter-free for a more serene, efficient kitchen.

Smart, Specialized Kitchen Tools That Work Together

As home kitchens become increasingly tech-savvy, a new wave of specialized appliances is transforming not just how we cook, but how we store, clean, and carry meals. Pairing innovative tools that complement one another is making it easier than ever to eat well, save time, and reduce waste—whether you’re at home or on the move.

A great example of this synergy is the combination of Fritaire and UVI, two smart kitchen solutions designed for modern lifestyles.

Fritaire is a self-cleaning air fryer that uses rotisserie technology, vortex convection heating, and a toxin-free borosilicate glass bowl to deliver crisp, evenly cooked meals with less oil. Its standout feature—a built-in self-cleaning system—allows users to clean the appliance with just soap and water, eliminating one of the biggest pain points of daily cooking.

On the portability side, UVI rethinks the classic lunch box with a self-heating, self-sanitizing design. Meals stay hot, fresh, and safe to eat without relying on shared microwaves or takeout containers. It’s particularly useful for commuters, remote workers, or anyone trying to maintain healthy eating habits while on the go.

Together, these two products reflect how the kitchen is evolving—where convenience, health, and sustainability intersect with smart design. From making home-cooked meals easier to prepare and clean up, to keeping them hot and ready to enjoy anywhere, these complementary appliances show how thoughtful pairings can simplify everyday routines.

Tech-Driven Self-Care at Home

Wellness continues to evolve, moving from spas and studios into our own homes, supported by smart, tech-enhanced tools. Renpho was a standout in this space, offering AI-powered health and wellness devices like smart scales, massage guns, and air purifiers—all designed to put professional-grade self-care within reach.

On the environmental side, Cismea Global offered smart hydration products and kitchen appliances that blend cutting-edge technology with sustainable design, making it easier than ever to maintain a balanced, health-focused home life.

Smart Home Essentials for Efficiency and Ease

As our homes become smarter, so do the essentials within them. Technology is no longer a novelty—it’s a standard, offering convenience, efficiency, and automation. Cismea Global continues to lead with multipurpose, tech-forward solutions across home and personal care categories.

Similarly, ASOBU is reimagining everyday drinkware with insulated, stylish designs that keep beverages at the perfect temperature whether you’re at home, in the office, or on the go. Their products combine aesthetic appeal with practical, eco-conscious design—a reflection of how functionality and beauty are no longer separate in today’s homes.

Scent-Scaping: Setting the Mood at Home

Scent-scaping—the art of creating atmosphere through fragrance—was another growing trend. Mar Company Group brought this to life through a diverse portfolio of fragrance brands like Aromar, with its ultrasonic diffusers and essential oils; Black Label’s family-focused home scents; and Oopsie Poopsie, a cheeky, portable odor solution. The company’s Rocket Scent and Grandeur lines further underscored how scent is becoming an essential part of home décor, capable of transforming a room’s mood as much as furniture or lighting.

Interactive Creativity and 3D Innovation

Home is no longer just a place to relax—it’s a place to learn, create, and experiment. 3Doodler tapped into this DIY, maker-space spirit with its 3D printing pens, available in beginner to professional models. Whether used for STEM education, art projects, or product prototypes, these interactive tools make creativity tactile, accessible, and fun.

Experiential Drinking

The way we drink is changing too, with a growing emphasis on sensory and social experiences. Spirits With Smoke introduced INFUSED Cocktails & Mocktails, transforming cocktail culture with organic infusions, custom boards, and smoking kits that add flavor, aroma, and a dramatic flourish to every drink. It’s a perfect example of how home entertaining is becoming more interactive, immersive, and elevated.

Southern Craftsmanship for the Modern Snacker

Even snacking is getting a thoughtful, artisanal upgrade. Piedmont Pennies is reinventing nostalgic Southern flavors with their rich, buttery, cheesy biscuit crackers made in small batches using local North Carolina ingredients. It’s Southern craftsmanship reimagined for the modern snacker—authentic, comforting, and utterly crave-worthy.

A Glimpse into the Future of Home Living

The Inspired Home Show 2025 wasn’t just about products—it was a window into the future of how we live, relax, entertain, and care for ourselves. From tech-enhanced wellness to eco-friendly housewares, and from interactive creativity to elevated snacking, this year’s show proved that home is not just where the heart is—it’s where innovation lives.

As trends like turtling, experiential design, and sustainable living continue to evolve, the insights and connections made at The Inspired Home Show will shape what’s next for brands, consumers, and the homes we call our own.
