Ivine, CA--With an increasing interest in South and Central American markets,BGG World announced a new name for its U.S.-based subsidiary. Formerly called BGG North America, the subsidiary will now be called BGG Americas to reflect the company's endeavors in countries such as Brazil and Mexico.

“Many markets in South and Central America are developing quickly, and we want to focus more attention to work with leading brands in those markets as we have been doing in the USA for many years,” said Chunhua Li, Founder and Global Chairman of BGG World, in a press release.

Bob Capelli


The company also announced the promotion of Bob Capelli, a 30-year veteran in the supplement industry, to CEO of BGG Americas, where he will lead ingredients distribution. Additionally, Capelli will serve as CEO of BGG’s subsidiary, Algae Health Sciences. Previously, Capelli spent the last five years working for Algae Health Sciences in a global marketing position and as a member of the Board of Directors.

Li welcomed Capelli to the new role. “Bob brings us an intense focus on the customer, outstanding industry knowledge and super-high energy levels which we believe will result in great success for our operations in the Americas in the coming years,” he says.
