New York City, NY—Tyson Foods plans to launch a meat substitute this summer, according to CNN.

The product will have a limited launch, CEO and president Noel White said during an analyst call, according to CNN, but Tyson has been considering alternatives to animal protein for a while.

Earlier this year Tyson announced that it had sold its 6.5% stake in vegan burger makerBeyond Meat, according to aReuters report.

The animal meat market is volatile at the moment, CNN notes: China’s pork industry has been dragged down due to African swine fever, which could push Tyson’s chicken and beef business--but, as CNN points out, the uncertainty regarding tariffs sent chicken prices lower anyway.
