The Chobani Food Incubator is in its second year, and will be helping seven food and beverage companies challenge their respective industries, according toCNBC. The seven companies were selected out of 550 applicants, and will each be receiving $25,000.

Chobani’s Food Incubator program offers support, guidance, and resources to like-minded food startups that can impact the world in a positive way. Their mission is to provide better food for more people. With this program, they hope to “challenge the food industry, improve broken systems, and make a difference.”

Chobani provides a four month program that lasts from September 2017 to December 2017. The program includes guest speakers, workshops, mentor rotations, field trips, and social events. Programming will cover a large range of food industry topics including building a sustainable business, team building and scaling, packaging and pricing, and sales and retail strategy. There are no strings attached to the $25,000 grant to help small business owners thrive. They offer equity-free capital and cover travel, hotel, and other expenses.

Team members have access to Chobani teams, executives, and experts. They will receive regular check-ins and support between onsite programs and also be able to network with Chobani Food Incubator peers.

The program was created by Chobani’s founder, Hamdi Ulukaya. He chooses all final participants and will be mentoring each company throughout the program. Chobani is looking for companies that have a vision similar to their own. They are seeking candidates who wish to do the right thing, are inclusive, and are ready to grow.

This year’s participants are Chloe’s Fruit, Farmer Willies, Grainful, LoveTheWild, Pique Tea Crystals, Rumi Spice, and Snow Monkey.
