Certified B Corps are for-profit companies that use business to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy, the press release explains. B Corps are required to consider the impact of their decisions on customers, workers, communities, and the environment. Globally since 2006, more than 60,000 companies have been assessed for B Corp status, but only 3,499 have been certified to date.
