Organic Trade Association (OTA) announced the new leadership team of co-CEOs Tom Chapman and Matthew Dillon. Collectively, the duo has more than four decades of experience in organic across the industry, including farming, seed sector, supply chain, consumer packaged goods, certification and regulation and government affairs. OTA said with the upcoming announcements of the first USDA Organic Marketing Development grant recipients, OTA’s continued work as a lead cooperator for USDA’s Transition to Organic Partnership Program, and a Farm Bill worth fighting for, Chapman and Dillon’s leadership will ensure the association is well positioned to support the continued growth and improvement of the organic sector. 

Best Day Brewing named Jane Armstrong Hockman as Chief Operating Officer, and Todd Karnig as Chief Sales Officer. Armstrong Hockman will lead and scale the company’s growth and national business operations including finance, operations, and commercial and business development. Karnig will lead the sales team. 

ADM appointed Ismael Roig Interim Chief Financial Officer. Roig has served in a variety of global operational and financial leadership roles since joining ADM in 2004. Roig most recently served as President of EMEA at ADM, and as President of Animal Nutrition. His appointment follows the decision of the ADM Board of Directors to place Vikram Luthar, CFO and SVP, on administrative leave. Luthar’s leave is pending an ongoing investigation conducted by outside counsel for ADM and the Board’s Audit Committee regarding accounting practices and procedures with respect to ADM’s Nutrition reporting segment.

Norm Cross has been promoted to VP, Brand Sales and Marketing, at Unique Snacks, and will lead continued growth of grocery chain ACV, DSD Distribution, and expansion with convenience stores, club stores, drug stores, and e-commerce. Jacob Merrill was promoted to Director of Ecommerce to manage online growth, including online sales, marketing, and fulfillment for the web store and expansion of the brand's Amazon marketplace.
