Lantmännen Functional Foods has launched PromOat Instant, an oat beta-glucan that is 100% soluble in water and is available in three different versions: PromOat, PromOat Gluten-Free and PromOat Instant. PromOat Instant is extracted from Swedish, GMO-free, and wholegrain oats and is designed for nutritional supplements and powdered beverages. The product is suggested to reduce blood cholesterol, help balance blood glucose, and contribute to satiety, the company claims.
