Lonzahas announced a commercially available titanium dioxide-free semi-opaque capsule for supplement manufacturers. The vegan Capsugel Vcaps Plus White Opal capsule is made using hypromellose (HPMC), water and an EU-compliant semi-opacifier. The capsule results in machinability and offers semi-opaque whiteness for masking properties, the company says.
