Arlington Heights, IL– J.R. Carlson Laboratories, Inc. announcedthat the company has resumed operations. AsWholeFoodsMagazinepreviously reported, Carlson had temporarily suspended all production and distribution operations on March 23 in an effort to help flatten the curve as the COVID-19 pandemic intensified throughout the country.

Carlson said in a press release that high-quality nutritional supplements are important now more than ever now, and that the company is working to meet the increased demand while also prioritizing the safety and well-being of employees.

Efforts to help ensure health and safety include staggered schedules to help employees maintain social distancing and adherance to strict GMP cleaning and sanitation guidelines that coincide with CDC recommendations. The company hopes to resume normal operations as soon as possible, and noted, "please understand that until then, there may be delays with processing orders."

"Over the past 55 years, we have experienced–and overcome–many challenging moments," the company said in the announcement. "We know this time will be no different. Thank you for your continued support. We will get through this together."
