Sabinsa has opened an office in Toronto, according toa press release, expanding its presence in the Canadian dietary supplements market.

Sabinsa currently has 20 Natural Product Numbers approved by Health Canada, according to the release, including Curcumin C3 Complex, BioPerine, and LactoSpore.

The company reported that the new office and any Canadian customers can coordinate contract manufacturing services from Sabinsa’s Utah Contract Manufacturing facility, which has a registered Foreign Site Reference Number.

Sabinsa founder Dr. Muhammed Majeed said in the release, “This expansion is part of our growth strategy in Canada for our ingredients and services. Our next step is to open a warehouse in the area, which will reduce the transit time and logistical hurdles to get the orders to customers more quickly.”

Shaheen Majeed, Sabinsa president worldwide, added, “The Canadian supplement industry has been growing at a robust pace; Sabinsa wanted to contribute to this growth by facilitating access to our ingredients by Canadian companies and its end consumers. The office will help serve our Canadian customers.”

Sabinsa Canada operations, according to the release, are being managed by Nida Saleem, sales and marketing executive.
