Portland, OR—Portland Business Journal is reporting that a new natural products convenience store chain could take Portland by storm this fall.

Founded by Lisa Sedlar (former CEO of New Seasons Market), Green Zebra Grocery will open its first location in September, with two other stores opening their doors later this year. According to the Portland Business Journal, the stores “promise to deliver fresh produce, meats, seafood, cheese and sustainably made products to Portland neighborhoods in an expanded convenience-store package.”

Recently, more than 300 local natural brands lined up to woo Sedlar and her team at a vendor fair, hoping to be chosen by the store’s buyers.
