August 10, 2017
Nancy Trent
Technology is not just for the young at heart.  At the recent CEWeek, the consumer electronics (CE) industry's official event in New York City, there were young technology companies showing innovations for all ages.

Gary Kaye, founder of Tech50+, which is filled with information from seasoned journalists in-the-know, moderated a panel on the hot button issues for tech for the over-50 set. According to panelist Rebecca Wasley, director of marketing, BeWellConnect, we’re facing a doctor shortage due to an increasing population of aging boomers and connected technology is going to have to pick up the slack. She said, “Healthcare is at an inflection point. Connected health technologies can bring patients and doctor together to improve outcomes.”

That was evident on the show floor with some great new wellness tech gear that appeals to people of all ages who want to feel and look better and healthier.
