A High Growth Industry

August 3, 2017
Nancy Trent
The smartest entrepreneurs I know are getting involved in the cannabis business, expecting to yield high growth. The legalized cannabis industry and medical, recreational and industrial hemp industries are expected to top $20 billion in the next three years.

The Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition, now in its fourth year, took place at the Jacob Javits Center. It is the largest on the east coast and I couldn’t wait to attend to see the new brands to watch.

Scott Giannotti, Managing Director of the Cannabis World Congress events says, “Our platform will continue to provide valuable education about all aspects of the cannabis plant, as we’ve done for the last four years, but this year we’ve taken a more comprehensive approach to learning that will take our attendees from A-to-Z. In addition, we added a strong emphasis on industrial hemp due to Governor Cuomo’s commitment to making hemp a $1 billion industry in our state. It’s a very exciting time for New York.”

Here are a few products I spotted that I am most excited about:

A new remedy for pain and signs of aging.

CBD For Life is the innovative producer of natural, luxurious, and effective Cannabidiol (CBD) infused pain management and beauty made with 99% pure CBD extract from the stems and stalks of hemp. Their groundbreaking formulas combine CBD with nourishing essential oils and other active ingredients to aid in reducing pain, inflammation, and stress while promoting anti-aging and rejuvenation. Their products are 95% naturally derived and are free of GMOs, parabens, artificial colors and never tested on animals. Along with being good for your skin and body all of CBD for Life products retail under $35—allowing their products to rejuvenate without stressing your budget, too!

From oils to beauty serums and creams, enhanced waters, shots and innovative patches, Isodiol has developed a wide range of CBD products that are thoroughly third-party tested for quality. Their products are specifically for those looking for natural ways to combat aging and pain. CBD aka Cannabidiol, is one of the richest compounds found within the marijuana plant. Although found within the same plant as THC, CBD is a compound that is nonpsychotic— meaning it has none of the characteristics of THC. This makes CBD perfect for use in the medical field. Isodiol is providing consumers a way to reap the benefits of marijuana’s ability to aid in pain management without the side effects that have caused many to avoid the plant.

Have questions on cannabis consumption?

Thinking about entering the medical cannabis field or becoming a consumer? PotBotics is here to help! This company is the leading data aggregation and technology company focused on the global medical cannabis market. With a core management team comprised of leaders and innovators across the fields of biotech, robotics, artificial intelligence and the cannabis market, PotBotics is making history as the first company to collect data from cultivation to patient consumption to create best–in-class technology products and services for cannabis professionals and consumers.

The next Cannabis World Congress will take place in Los Angeles, Sept. 13 -15, 2017.
