Rancho Dominguez, CA--Plant-based ingredients supplier BI announced that the company has successfully renewed its ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). As Rupa Das, VP of Global Quality and Compliance at BI, explains, the accreditation was expanded in scope to include contaminants and safety measures specific to Identilok, BI’s Genus Species testing process.

“The renewal of our ISO 17025 accreditation demonstrates our commitment to sustaining the quality of our laboratory operations,” said Das. “It is important for us to uphold the confidence of our customers with regard to the accuracy of our testing and reporting, as well as product safety. The accreditation demonstrates our technical competency and the ability of our laboratory operations to consistently produce precise and accurate test data. The expanded scope, which includes contaminants and product identification, provides further assurance for our customers of meeting their regulatory requirements.
