Aronson will head the firm’s nationally ranked advertising and consumer protection practices and further sharpen its business-driven solutions. The company said there is a growing need for such expertise right now, with a newly resurgent Federal Trade Commission (FTC), an explosion of class action litigation, rapidly evolving technology, and fierce competition in the marketplace making it more important than ever to have cutting-edge advice on compliance with consumer protection laws. Aronson advises clients regarding the development, substantiation, approval, and defense of advertising claims in a range of product categories, and regularly represents companies in advertising challenges before the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the BBB National Programs, and in investigations brought by the FTC and state attorneys general.
