Arla Foods Ingredient has launched a new ingredient toolbox to support dairy producers in South America, in the cream cheese market. Nutrilac, a line of functional milk proteins, can help companies create new products and enter sectors such as food service. This ingredient toolbox will reduce the length of the manufacturing process and options are easy to use with existing equipment, minimizing waste and maximizing cost savings, the company says. Nutrilac can create cream cheese with 100% yield, Arla Foods adds, thereby avoiding acid whey streams.
