Farmsteadersfollows Nick Nolan and his family on a journey to resurrect his late grandfather's dairy farm as agriculture moves toward large-scale farming. The documentary points an honest look at the beauty and hardship of everyday life, offering an unexpected voice for a forsaken people: those who grow the food that sustains us. With about 4.7 farms in the U.S. who couldn't sustain business due to corporate-driven food processes, Mallett says in a press release, the story is pertinent to the 21st century.
