Washington, D.C.—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN)announced in a press releasethat David Campbell, vice president of North American Regulatory Affairs and Policy at RB Health, has been elected chair of the association’s Board of Directors.

Campbell, who has served on CRN’s executive committee for the past two years, will hold the chairman position through 2020. He is succeeding Jim Hyde, VP and GM of Balchem Human Nutrition and Pharma, who will continue to serve on the board as immediate past chair.

Campbell has more than 20 years of experience in the health industry. He previously served as the senior director of North American regional regulatory lead for Pfizer Consumer Health, wherein he was responsible for leading the North American Regulatory Affairs department in the development and execution of regulatory strategies for OTC drugs, medical devices, dietary supplements, and cosmetics for the U.S. and Canadian markets. Before that, he held a variety of positions at healthcare companies including Sanofi-Aventis, Altana Pharma, and Watson Pharma.

CRN also announced the committee chairs Campbell appointed, which includes people from Neptune Wellness Solutions, doTERRA International, and Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes.
