Chicago, IL—Amin Talati Wasserman, LLP, announced that regulatory attorney Shelly Garg has joined the firm as a partner. Garg provides counsel to clients in areas such as strategic business planning, product development, testing and approval, advertisement and promotion, liability risk, inspections and related issues, according to a press release, and her "keen insights into FDA and its inner workings have proved to be of significant value to her clients in successfully resolving matters before the agency."

Garg practices in the areas of food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, medical devices, cosmetics, dietary supplements and animal and veterinary products, and also assists foreign and domestic businesses with regulatory compliance, trade and enforcement matters involving FDA, FTC, USDA, CPSC, TTB and other federal, state and local authorities.

"We are honored that an attorney of Shelly's caliber has joined us," said Ivan Wasserman, the firm's Managing Partner. "We will continue to grow our teams with talented, dedicated professionals like Shelly to meet the needs of our clients."

Amin Talati Wasserman also announced that the firm has relocated its Washington D.C. office to the Palisades neighborhood in Northwest, which, according to the release, is consistent with the firm's "inside the Beltway but outside the box" thinking for a D.C. law office. The location also gives the firm easier access to FDA in Maryland.
