In Memoriam
Sad news has come from Eco Lips of Cedar Rapids, IA. Mark Patterson, 34, the firm’s CEO, passed away in mid-August due to a sudden illness. The organic enthusiast was passionate about all aspects of environmentalism and even helped lead the Eco Lips Earth Day Bike Ride and the Organic Endurathon. Mark is survived by his wife and three children. Mark was the sole provider to his family, so a memorial fund has been set up for the children at www.ecolips.com/mark. Eco Lips founder and former CEO Steve Shriver will be the acting CEO until a new leader is appointed.
