Twinlab Corporation of New York, NY has a new president and CEO: Tom Tolworthy. He was previously CEO of The Vitamin Shoppe.

Pittsfield, NH-based Rustic Crust announced that its CEO Brad Sterl is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2011 New England Award semifinalist. The award honors entrepreneurs “who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.” The winner will be announced in mid-June. Also, David Kerbel was appointed director of national accounts for Rustic Crust.

Wisdom Natural Brands of Gilbert, AZ appointed Laura Setzfand to be its vice president of sales. She will manage a sales team that includes Claire Polson, eastern region sales manager; Kendall Clemens, central region sales manager; and Leann Maxwell-Muir, western region sales manager.

Ojai, CA-based Nourish America has several new board members: Nourish America President Andrew Jacobson (founder of Ep!phany!); Secretary/Treasurer Gillian Christie (CEO of Christie Communications); Eric Schnell (co-founder of I AM enlightened nutrition, and operating partner for 6Pacific Capital), Laura Setzfand (vice president of sales for Wisdom Natural Brands) and Rakesh Amin (attorney and managing member at Amin Talati).

Cyvex Nutrition of Irvine, CA hired Puya Yazdi, M.D., to be the company’s medical director.

Michael Rosenbaum is now the director of Mary’s Gone Crackers of Gridley, CA.

Kyowa Hakko USA of New York, NY announced that Mary Murphy will be its Southeastern sales manager.
