Reserveage Organics of Gainesville, FL, made several new additions to its sales and marketing team. They are Amy Accardi, director of marketing; Rasa Kumar, director of sales; Suzanne Alexander Sokolow, East Coast Regional Sales Manager; Heather Spangler, Re-Body brand development and marketing; Linda Driscoll, national educator; Jenna Mucha, digital media and PR manager (works with the Montel Williams team, represents the company’s Re-Body products); and Pete Sheardy, brand manager for Reserveage and CocoaWell.

Mark Blumenthal, founder and executive director of the American Botanical Council, Austin, TX, is now a member of the Lloyd Library and Museum’s Honorary Advisory Board. The library is based in Cincinnati, OH and is considered a vital research center by the scientific community.

Cyvex Nutrition of Irvine, CA has a new director of sales and marketing: Constance Ostler.

Simi Valley, CA-based derma e Natural Bodycare appointed Michelle Lamey to be its North American beauty sales manager.

Life Extension, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, announced that Andrea Nelson joined the company as western regional sales manager. She will be based in Sacramento, CA.

 (WFC, Inc., publisher of WholeFoods Magazine) President Howard Wainer has undergone a kidney transplant at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He received a donated kidney from Stacie Delos, longtime friend and sorority sister of Heather Wainer, WholeFoods Magazine’s publisher and Wainer’s daughter. Mr. Wainer says that the gift Delos has given him is unbelievable and he is forever grateful.
