Elizabeth W. Hurst joins the staff of the Natural Products Association as its state government relations manager.

Liisa McConnell is now the director of marketing and public relations for RADIUS of Kutztown, PA. RADIuS makes eco-friendly toothbrushes.

IN MEMORIAM

Lundberg Family Farms of Richvale, CA said a sad goodbye to one of its founders. Eldon Albert Lundberg, the oldest of the Lundberg brothers, passed away at the end of June. He was 82 years old. The Lundbergs have had a strong presence in the rice industry for several decades, growing to be one of the largest organic rice makers in the country. Eldon’s son, Grant, is now the firm’s CEO.

At the beginning of August, Jack Rohrer passed away at the age of 63. He has been with Carlson Laboratories for four years as national sales manager and previously worked at Cargill. Said John Carlson, president of Carlson Laboratories, “We were blessed to have Jack come into our lives and company. He led our Sales Force ably, helped our company grow and refine its policies, and was a talented leader and resource for all of us to call upon. But even more than that, Jack quickly became a part of our family, and we were honored to call him our friend.”
