NPF Reaches Out for Support

Washington, D.C.—The Natural Products Foundation (NPF) encouraged industry companies to get involved in its Truth in Advertising program by donating $100 per month to help “clean up advertising practices in an industry-wide effort.”

The group said it is using prevention and self-regulation to help weed out irresponsible ads about “false ‘miracle’ cures” that damage everyone’s businesses. “Bold steps are warranted, and through vigilance, education, and good business, we can work together to root out the harmful practices that affect us all,” the group stated.

Donations are being accepted through the NPF’s Web site, www.naturalproductsfoundation.org.
