A team of researchers lead by Harry G. Preuss published a review article in Original Internist discussing the benefits of Garcinia cambogia. They stress that one should choose a stable form of HCA, especially one that is more than 50% HCA, take the supplement on an empty stomach (30–60 minutes before a meal) and choose a branded ingredient that is backed by peer-reviewed data.
