ACG North America LLC has developed an Automatic Capsule Filler (ACG AF-90[T]). The machine is designed to fill a large variety of powder formulations into hard gelatin capsules. It also uses a tamping process that forms a slug and is inserted into the capsule. A few benefits of the machine are being GMP-compliant, having an easy-to-operate touch screen and an output of 90,000 capsules per hour.

From O.Berk Company comes Amber Glass Dropper Bottles, for delivering doses and drops. The dropper bottles are excellent for food oils, liquid vitamins and essential oils to name a few, because they help prevent spills and product wasting. According to the firm, “These bottles are an excellent choice for liquid products where single dosage is essential.”

Valensa International has introduced Go Easy, a formulation combining plant-based waxy policosanols with chia-derived omega-3 fatty acids and cranberry extract. The combination is said to promote regularity and is suitable for delivery in a soft gel. According to the firm, the formulation has been proven to increase the number of bowel movements of test participants daily by 50% in a pre-clinical study.

Cyvex Nutrition, Inc. has released SolaThin, a branded weight management ingredient and potato protein extract containing various low-molecular weight proteins. SolaThin is sourced from vegetables, contains over 90% protein, has PI-2 (enables release of cholecystokinin) and contains no added compounds.
