Available in Extra Fine Natural, Extra Fine Blanched and Fine Blanched varieties, these almond flours contain 6 g of protein, 3.5 g of fiber and 75 mg of calcium per serving. Nexira Health added Simag to its line of branded health ingredients. Simag is an extract of purified marine minerals, and serves as a source of magnesium, according to the company. According to the company, “ZMA aids in replenishing zinc, magnesium, and vitamin B6 levels in the body,” potentially supporting exercise and recovery. The powder is lightly sweetened with acesulfame potassium, sucralose and vanilla flavor. It is suitable for protein powders, powdered energy beverages and more.

DietSpice is new from Pharmachem Laboratories Inc. This functional seasoning includes Phase 2 and is intended to be added to foods to “help people lose weight while they eat.” Flavors include Italian, Asian, Butter & Spice and Cinnamon Sweetener. DietSpice is available in numerous packaging options.
