Woodland, CA-based Western Foods is now SQF Level 2 Certified.

According to new data published in the International Journal of General Medicine, an oral probiotic called Streptococcus salivarius K12 (Blis K12 from Stratum Nutrition, St. Charles, MO) may improve respiratory immune health in children. After 22 children diagnosed with ear infections were given the probiotic for three months, it was found “strain K12 may have a role in reducing the occurrence and/or severity of [secretory otitis media] in children.”
