All products meet the CPSIA requirements and are made of all-natural ingredients.

Products are made from tarnish-free and rust-free materials, which includes stainless steel and lead-free wire. Biorginal Food & Science Corp. has developed BioPure Krill, a source of phospholipids, astaxanthin and omega-3 fatty acids. The firm says the phospholipid EPA/DHA structure will help make krill oil a leader in the omega-3 market in the next five years. BioPure Krill oil’s makeup is said to be better absorbed within the body and provides more antioxidants than other leading omega-3 ingredients.

Cactus Botanics now offers several grades of brown seaweed (Laminaria japonica) for the dietary supplement industry. Laminaria japonica contains high levels of fucoidan, which supports hypothyroidism, fatigue and menstruation.

ACG North America LLC has developed an Automatic Capsule Filler (ACG AF-90[T]). The machine is designed to fill a large variety of powder formulations into hard gelatin capsules. It also uses a tamping process that forms a slug and is inserted into the capsule. A few benefits of the machine are being GMP-compliant, having an easy-to-operate touch screen and an output of 90,000 capsules per hour.

Valensa International has introduced Go Easy, a formulation combining plant-based waxy policosanols with chia-derived omega-3 fatty acids and cranberry extract. The combination is said to promote regularity and is suitable for delivery in a soft gel. According to the firm, the formulation has been proven to increase the number of bowel movements of test participants daily by 50% in a pre-clinical study.
